Step by step guide

Run your academy in NdamBa, end to end.

Every screen, in order, with the exact taps. Search your role or what you want to do, or follow it top to bottom to run a full season.

Tip: try a role like parent, or a task like cut highlights, weather, autopay, attendance.

This guide takes you through the whole app, the same path the walkthrough video follows. Everything is editable later, so start rough and refine. Open ndamba.app on your phone and add it to your home screen.

A · Set up your academy (once)

1

Create your academy

Sign in and create your academy. Add your name, logo and colours. This white-labels the whole app and the family home-screen icon to your club, so families only ever see your brand.

2

Name your assistant and teach it your academy

Give the academy assistant a name, then answer the short onboarding: registration, fees, schedule and policies. From then on it answers families day or night, in their own language. Edit what it knows any time from Settings.

3

Build your teams and stages

Open Players and create a team per age group. Players are grouped by development stage, from Recreation through Development to Elite. As a child grows, you simply move them up the ladder.

4

Add your players

Add each player with their stage and position. The app then tailors every evaluation to that age and position automatically, a goalkeeper is judged like a goalkeeper, not a striker.

5

Build roles and invite your staff

Open Roles and shape exactly who can do what, then invite coaches and a treasurer from People. A coach never sees salaries; a treasurer handles money but not a child's private evaluations. You decide every boundary.

6

Invite families and players

Invite each guardian to their own child, and players to their own login. A parent sees only their own child, their profile, schedule, fees and coach's notes, and nothing else. Everyone lands in the in-app chat, mirrored to WhatsApp and SMS so no message is missed.

B · Bring families in

7

Open registration

Open Registrations and share your public sign-up link. A family enters the child's details, picks the team, signs the consent forms and pays the first fee, all in one flow. You review and approve each into a full profile in a tap.

  • Set registration and season fees up front.
  • Track paid, waived and owing per family.
8

Run a summer camp CAMPS

Open Camps and create a camp: its dates, age range, capacity, and resident and non-resident pricing. Add the weeks and any add-ons (after-care, jersey, lunch), then flip it open and public to get one shareable sign-up link. Families register their child online, picking weeks and add-ons while the price adds up live, with t-shirt, dietary, medical, emergency contact and the waiver. Every camper lands on your roster, ready to approve into an invoice and check in each day.

C · Run the week

9

Set the schedule MAP + WEATHER

Open Schedule and add training, games and travel with the time and the address. Tap the address and directions open in Maps, and right under it you see the weather forecast for that day, so nobody is ever caught out. Families subscribe the calendar to their phone and reminders handle themselves.

10

Take attendance and punctuality

Coaches clock in and out of each session on Presence, so you see who is on time, late or absent, with weekly and monthly trends. Bad weather? Cancel the session and it never counts against anyone.

11

Announce to everyone MAP + WEATHER

Open Announcements, tap New announcement, and post the game day, training or travel with its venue. It goes up instantly, the address is a tappable map link, and the forecast shows right beside it.

12

Chat in Pitch CALENDAR

Pitch is the academy chat, channels, replies and reactions, mirrored to WhatsApp and SMS. An Upcoming panel sits right on top, so the next games and training, with their venue and weather, are always one glance away.

D · Develop your players

13

Evaluate a player

Open a player and tap Evaluate. Score them against the development pillars for their age and position, or upload a short clip, let the assistant draft a rating for every skill, and just confirm. The video never leaves the device.

Tip: the Drill Library suggests training mapped to the exact pillar a player needs to improve.
14

Plan training from the Drill Library

Open Drills for age-appropriate practice plans, mapped to the very skills you evaluate, so training and assessment always line up.

15

Record the match

After every game, open Matches and log who scored, who assisted, saves, tackles, cards and conduct. Those numbers feed straight back into each player's development score.

16

Cut highlights by jersey number

Open Film, attach the full game video, set the line-up, mark a moment and tag the player. NdamBa clips each player's highlights by jersey number, ready to share with families and scouts.

17

Plan with the Tactics board

Open Tactics, build your formation and let the app propose the best eleven from who is available and in form. After the game it grades how closely the team followed the plan.

18

Watch the Development DNA grow

Open any player's profile to see who they are becoming: an AI-written Development DNA, a growth-trend chart from real matches and evaluations, and a profile that travels with them.

E · Handle the money

19

Raise and collect fees

Open Finance and raise a fee for any player. Families can pay online by card, or you record a cash payment or a bank transfer and mark it paid. Everything collected, outstanding and spent is on one screen.

20

Let fees run themselves on autopay

Open Finance › Plans and split any fee into installments on set dates. A family sets it up once, and every payment is then collected automatically, with a reminder if one is ever missed.

F · Govern and report

21

Run the everyday operations

Open Operations for dues, pickup safety, so a child only leaves with the right adult, and pitch passes, the everyday running of the academy in one place.

22

Run your league or season

Open Leagues, add your fixtures and record results, the standings update themselves.

23

Read the Insights and print reports

Open Insights to track your coaching philosophy against every game, with the numbers behind how the academy plays, and one-tap printable reports, branded with your logo, for the board and families.

24

Share the Laws of the Game

Players and families can learn the Laws of the Game on Rules, so everyone shares the same understanding of fair play.

25

Recognise your sponsors

Add the businesses and partners that support the academy on Sponsors, recognised across the app.

26

Check the Brief any morning

Open the Brief for a one-screen snapshot of the whole academy: how many players, money in and out, attendance, and what needs your attention today.

No step matches that. Try a role (owner, coach, treasurer, parent, player) or a task like payment, weather, evaluate.

That is the whole app, end to end. Player development, highlights, attendance, schedule, fees, communication and your whole operation, in one place, on any phone, in your language. NdamBa. Where young players get seen.
