SaBi · investor brief

One home for independent African heritage fashion, where every house keeps its voice and the customer measures once.

Independent African designers make extraordinary work and struggle to reach a global diaspora. Generic e-commerce erases their voice, charges them for separate sites, and uses sizing that ignores bespoke and ceremonial wear. SaBi is a multi-tenant marketplace where each house runs as its own branded storefront, customers fill one fit profile and shop them all, and an AI concierge trained per house answers fit, fabric, and occasion questions. In English, Spanish, and French.

The opportunity

A beloved craft and a global diaspora that cannot easily shop it.

African heritage fashion is a large and growing category with deep cultural pull, and a worldwide diaspora that wants authentic pieces for weddings, naming ceremonies, and formal events. Yet the designers are fragmented across separate sites, social DMs, and word of mouth, and the customer who wants several houses must learn a different website for each and re-enter measurements every time. The opening is one trusted home that respects each house's identity while making it easy to discover, fit, and commission across many.

The wedge

We respect the maker and remove the friction for the buyer.

Marketplaces usually flatten sellers into one template; SaBi does the opposite. Each house sets its own brand colours, pricing model, capabilities, and concierge persona, so it feels built only for them. The buyer-side wedge is the shared fit profile: measure once - height, chest, waist, hip, inseam, sleeve - and every house uses it, which cuts returns and makes gifting easy. On top sits an AI concierge per house, trained on its story, fabrics, and timelines, that answers the questions that stall a sale and escalates final pricing and bridal work to a human. That combination, identity for the maker and one-measurement ease for the buyer, is what no generic store offers.

Why it wins

The moat.

The shared fit profile

Once a customer measures once and shops several houses, switching to a single-store competitor means re-measuring everywhere. The profile gets more valuable with every house added - a real network effect built into the buyer experience.

Per-house identity, zero template feel

Each house keeps its brand, pricing model, capability matrix, and concierge persona. Designers stay because SaBi amplifies their voice instead of erasing it - the opposite of being one tile in a grid.

Concierge + ceremonies

An AI concierge per house turns browsing into commissioning, and group ordering coordinates bridal parties and naming ceremonies with deposits, installments, and group discounts - the diaspora's highest-value occasions, handled.

TaTech engine

A shared multi-tenant platform with database-enforced privacy, payments, observability, and AI plumbing, so new houses, languages, and features ship fast and cheap.

Status

In active development, trilingual by design.

Business model

Earn when a house sells, not by charging it to exist.

Marketplace

A commission on orders, so SaBi grows only when the houses do - aligned incentives instead of a flat site fee.

House subscriptions

Optional tiers for houses that want deeper concierge training, appointments, and richer storefront tools.

Ceremonies

Group orders for weddings and naming ceremonies are larger, higher-value baskets that lift average order value across the platform.

The ask

Let's talk.

We are raising to sign founding houses, finish the concierge and group-ordering experience, and grow diaspora reach across English, Spanish, and French markets. If you back founder-led, AI-native software that lifts independent makers instead of flattening them, and serves a passionate global community, we should talk.
